In the process of scratch building the revised crossovers (for B65oa II and T22-oa), I found the following infos on the forum: the 0.4mH coil wire is specified at 1.2mm diameter, the 0.6mH coil wire at 1.0mm dia (the original 0.5mH coil wire being 0.7-0.8mm dia).
What about the 1.8mH coil? I could not find any specific recommendations. Original wire dia is 0.7-0.8mm: should it just be kept as is, or be increased with the new woofer? If power input is increased, that's a lot of heat potentially generated otherwise...

I belive that you do not need to change the 1,8mH coil. Not nessecary.

I was aware that most people were keeping the old coil, but I was wondering if it was indeed the optimal solution when a full rebuild is contemplated.
While the original crossover was designed to handle about 40Wrms, with a LF coil DC resistance exceeding 1ohm (that's about 5W dissipation), both the B65oa II woofer and the T22-oa tweeters can comfortably handle more power: this fact seems to be reflected in the increased wire diameter specified for the new HF coils (1 or 1.2mm dia) but not for the LF coil...
I am also aware that total DC resistance plays a role in the ultimate slope and shape of the filter LP curve, so I was just trying to understand what trade-offs are being made and how much leaveway there is.
I apologize for writing in English, but my written Swedish skills are nil: I can read some though, so, for you folks having more information, please, feel free to write in Swedish... I think I'll be able to get most of it...
