Wondering has anyone tried the new woofer replacement for sonab speakers that superseded the b65 series??

https://www.hifikit.se/sb17nrx2c35-8.html

Any thoughts now this compared to the Peerless sc165 or b65?

Why do you write "new woofer replacement for sonab speakers that superseded the b65 series??" What information do you have about that? And from where?

Since they don´t have the 8 ohm B65oaIV at the moment they of course want to recommend something else. But then they also have to tell you how you should build the filter. The woofer is most likely not "plug and play".

My understanding it’s discontinued so I wonder how this new version compares and if modifications may be needed

"new version"? It´s a completely other driver from another company. I might be a good one. And I don´t know if it fits Sonab. But someone has to test and make a correct filter. I´m sure it needs that. If HifiKit recommend that driver they also should provide filter drawings.

I believe no filter change is needed I may try it if I need them and can’t repair the original peerless

Have you tried sb17nrx2 in your oa-14 and if so what is your opinion. Does it work?
