I have the dedicated speaker wire for the Sonabs but the amplifier side has been snipped off. How do i tell which is positive and which is negative..just try them?
The small pin in the DIN-connector is the positive. So if you have a multimeter you can find out by measuring. The important thing is you you connect the same way for both speakers.
You can also try it by using a 1.5 V battery and connect to the two wires. Normally the positive pole of the battery to the positive wire makes the woofer make a move outwards. Once again either way is ok as long as it is the same on both speakers.
